My beautiful sister's inspiring and empowering legacy emboldens me to create the Paula Rene McClain Beauty Endowment and Scholarship. The endowment and scholarships would financially assist women and children whom have been traumatized through violence. The first stage of honoring my precious sister began with two plays I wrote, created and produced entitled, "Illuminating the Night" and "Love Meow." "Illuminating the Night" was perfomred in 1994 at Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. "Love Meow" was performed at the Jubilee Theatre in 2010 in my hometown of Waco, Texas.

Both plays are projects that were and are catalysts for eradicating violence against women and girls. Through my plays, I examine the traumatic issues of my past and the murder of my sister Paula Rene McClain. By sharing my story of healing, transformation and empowerment, I enlighten people on how to move from trauma to peace, tragedy to triumph, tears to laughter and fear to faith. The audience receives knowledge regarding the sings of abuse and the signs of healthy love. They learn how to break one's silence and how to break the cycle of trauma and abuse. Information is distributed that pertains to resources that are available within the community to assist someone if they are encountering violence.

Paula Rene McClain Scholarships have sponsored women who lived in family shelters to attend the stage plays and workshops for free. The scholarships have provided Christmas gifts to disenfranchised families. I have partnered with churches, businesses and organizations to financially support families. The Paula Rene McClain Scholarships will continue to operate from the aforementioned principles.

My stage plays, sessions, seminars, workshops, conferences, classes, retreats, podcasts, and performances are platforms of transformation, awareness, prevention, and action. My initiatives present some solutions to the international crises of trauma and violence.
